A LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDERS

As the year 2021 comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to reflect on it. While it was difficult, it demonstrated how strong we are as a company, a community, and a family.

We take pride in the fact that the work we do is projecting Canada into a clean energy future. Innovation is what defines us. We rose to the challenge and proved that this is our strength. In less than 2 years of operation, Solaires has been able to accomplish what the leading perovskite organizations have been trying to achieve for more than 12 years.

Over the past 18 months, we have raised $4M in equity and non-dilutive funding and will continue our $2.1M pre-seed round till January 31st, 2022. This month, we are greatly appreciative to receive $100k in funding from SDTC's Seed Round. Solaires would like to extend our sincere thanks to those who have invested in our mission.

We're proud to say 2021 was the year of major milestones. We had a major scientific breakthrough which was our trigger to start sales earlier than planned, we have received great interest, we are now shipping our Solar Ink™ worldwide, and we have been recognized as one of Foresight50's most investable cleantech companies.

Our success is fueled by the tireless efforts of our management team and employees, whose accomplishments have propelled us to new heights.
